Dr. Joseph and his team took excellent care of me. I get squeamish and wimpy in the dentist chair and they went above and beyond to ensure that I felt relaxed while undergoing several cavity fillings. Dr. Joseph works calmly with a smooth and steady hand. His quality of work is phenomenal; I can finally smile and show my teeth without feeling self-conscious!
The staff was very understanding and flexible when I had to reschedule on short notice, and the admin process was ideal, with his office providing clear statements on a payment schedule that worked for me.
I'd highly recommend Dr. Joseph and his team and thanks to them I have the confident smile to prove it!

Dr. Joseph is an excellent dentist. He recently placed four custom dental crowns on my upper front teeth. They match perfectly with my other teeth. Now I have my smile back. Dr. Joseph is a very caring dentist. I have a severe case of gag reflex. To make sure I am relaxed and gag free he explains what he will be doing and what should I expect during the procedure. After being a patient of Doctor Petrini for over 30 years, I embraced Dr. Sunny Joseph with open arms as a trusted dentist because I knew Dr. Petrini would not leave his patients in the hands of anyone other than an excellent dentist.
I have to admit I have not been disappointed. After having two caps placed by Dr. Joseph I found him to be extremely meticulous, with the gentlest touch you can find. Dr. Joseph is an artist in his field and is an absolute perfectionist. From his injection which is hardly felt, to his color match he will not allow a patient leave his dental chair unless he is completely satisfied with his work.
This is a major plus for me and anyone who is looking for a superb dentist. I am very happy to have him for all my dental work for the next thirty years and would highly recommend him to my friends and families.

Others have sung the praises of Dr. P and his team. Now if this team only repaired cars, were primary care specialists, roofers and opthomologists I would give them a full 10. Once in a blue moon I find service I can rave about. This team doesn't just do their job. They care about teeth, your teeth, the future of your teeth and your well being and you.

I've called them when in pain in the middle of a holiday, weekend or night. They anticipate emergencies and show up with a smile whenever you need them. Dr. P takes the time to explain what is going on and if necessary refers you to the most competent specialists he has worked with for years. He continues his advanced dental education in between times and teaches also. He is dedicated to the profession and advancing dentistry.

Regarding cost, I want to mention that they are perfectionists and for the fee they spend as much time or visits with you as it takes to make things right and don't nickle and dime you along the way. They also don't leave you with ticking time bombs that will show up later and bring more business and more problems for you.

Thirteen years ago my sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Jerome Neuman, recommended this team and couldn't praise Dr. Petrini enough. They were correct. Now all three of us almost look forward to dental problems so we can visit this office and be reminded what professional service is all about.

PS. The office is quite pleasant (for those who don't like visiting the dentist) and it neither looks or smells like a typical dentist office. You can not go wrong with this dentist especially since the health of our teeth is the basis for various illnesses or lack of them as we age. I'm proud to recommend and have in my life a winner.

I survived 30 hours of natural labor during the birth of my daughter, but if I had my way, I'd go to the dentist under general anesthesia. I am horrified of dentists--all except Dr. Petrini! A year of Dr. Petrini and I love going to the dentist--even for root planings and cavities!!

Not only is Dr. Petrini down to Earth, friendly, and good to your teeth, but he's also incredibly gentle and lets you know what he's going to do before he does it (in case you need to brace yourself).

He's conveniently located at Sutter and Powell, and if you work in the Financial District, you can probably squeeze a cleaning in during a late or early lunch.

Dr. Petrini is the best dentist I have ever been to. I hadn't been to the dentist in a really long time and had a major problem earlier this year. He took X-rays and was straight forward with what could happen and what he was going to try to do. With a few visits, I was not only "fixed", but there was no need to have a root canal because of his skill and precision. I was never in the waiting room longer than a few minutes and was always treated with respect. His staff are very good, you can tell they are a happy office.
